This detail review of the new Magellan Maestro 3200 GPS navigation system gives a fair idea about the product. The images also give a feel of the device as well. :-)

I disagree that this unit is easy to use. While on a roadtrip recently, I broke the screen on my Garmin Nuvi 200 and stopped at the nearest electronics store to replace it. I ended up with this unit, and I found it so irritating that I sold it on eBay as soon as I returned home. First of all, the user interface on the Garmin is much simpler. The Magellan is always throwing up additional dialog boxes to confirm this or that. Second, the Magellan can't multitask -- if you want to search for a POI while you are navigating, you first have to cancel navigating and do the search, then resume navigating. It offers "Exit POI" search as a substitute, but this only works when on an interstate. With the Garmin, I could search the POI database and detour to it as a "VIA" point without interrupting navigation. Third, this thing is SLOOOOOWWWWW compared to the Garmin. And fourth, it doesn't have nearly as good a POI database. My advice: avoid this unit at all costs!

I bought a 3200. Love the unit. It's easy to use and full proof.
