Geocaching gets easier with Garmin

Garmin released a browser plug-in that makes it much easier for gps devices to communicate with Garmin’s website, which also includes geocaching.com.

You will now see a “Send to GPS” button on every cache page – once you’ve downloaded and installed the plugin (available at http://www8.garmin.com/products/communicator/), just attach your GPS device, click the button, and go – the information is transferred directly with no 3rd-party software required.

Currently, the plugin is compatible with IE 6+ and Firefox 1.5+ for Windows users only, though Garmin promises to deliver Mac support soon.
