GPS Systems and your PC don’t mix

Garmin C580

A study by the Swedish Defence Research Agency has found that many intel processors found in our PC’s interfere with the frequecy signals that GPS Navigation sytems use. What this basically means is that using a computer in a car, plane, boat, or anywhere a GPS system is used, can make the GPS device to stop operating correctly.

According to one researcher, if your GPS device starts playing for no apparent reason, try to turn off any electronic systems that you have near by and see if that stops the problem.
